Courtney Sims, RN, BSN
Courtney, a Jackson County native, grew up knowing that nursing was her calling. She graduated from Sneads High School with honors in 2009 and graduated from Chipola College with an AA/ADN. Courtney then transferred to the University of West Florida where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She has worked in a variety of acute care settings such as medical-surgical nursing and ICU step down units.
In her spare time, Courtney and her husband, Chad, own and operate a Cattle Farm in Marianna, Florida, where she gets to bottle feed newborn calves, administer medications, and wake up every morning to the sweet sound of farm life. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends, especially her nephew, Gunnar.
“My FIT family helps me to reach my goals and inspires me daily. It is my goal, to inspire you as well.”
